Kendrick -7 Jarett-9
These two keep me going everyday. We have been through a lot this past year as a family and trying to figure out how to make two house holds work but we are getting there and its been fun and its been difficult but with out these two boys I would not be who I am today. With all of our struggles we have found the time to play too.
We spent time at Melaleuca Field a few times watching the Idaho Falls Chuckars. The boys learned to really enjoy Baseball this year. They even watched and were excited about the World Series. GO CARDINALS!! (My dad used to take us to the Baseball games and we watched the World Series with him, not sure he knows that he is the reason I LOVE BASEBALL like I do and I love that my boys are getting to learn that from me.)
We got to go to SCOOP JAM!!!! We have always been Truck Pulling during this event and this year we didn't have to be on a stupid dirt track every week so we got to do a lot of different things. The boys had fun eating Ice Cream, Jarett would only eat the Ice Cream from Farr's Candy. The kid has good taste.
Kendrick with his Monkey Face
They played with the neighbor kids. (yes i know its all girls but there are actually about 20 boys in my neighborhood that they usually play with, where 1 of those boys were this day I have no clue.)
They were so cute to let the girls cover them in grass and then they would jump up and scare them. They giggled and laughed so hard
We went to the Rodeo. Yes it was a dirt track in some ways but this was fun there were Horses that you didn't need ear plugs for, Bulls, Buffalo, oh and CUTE COWBOYS!!! Even though it rained most the time we had a blast!
SPUD DAY! This is another event we have NEVER been to due to stupid dirt tracks.. The boys had a ton of fun eating Potatoes, watching the Spud Tug, Shooting the Paint ball guns, climbing the rock wall.
Face painting is always fun, Kendrick always has to be a Monkey and Jarett was in Camo.. Can you see him now?
We went to the Zoo for Free Zoo Day! After words we checked out Committee Day in the park ate FREE Cotton Candy..(the officer who took this picture for us called me the boys sister..SISTER! yes I wanted to take him home and marry him)
The boys being themselves at Grandpa & Grandma Millers.
The highlight of our summer...Jarett started FOOTBALL!!!
This was his 1st year in pads and I was not nervous at all the kid was a 4th grader playing on a 5th graders team and was STILL the BIGGEST kid on the team. (I cried when he got his pads)
During the 1st Bonneville home game all of the Grid Kid teams got to run on the field and be acknowledged during half time. It was pretty cool to see the "Future" of Bonneville Football.
We had a few "Date Nights" at the Football games. Usually it turned into Mom having a date by herself as the boys went and played but they checked on me a few times.
Jarett played Center and did an amazing job at it. I was definitely a proud mommy
We have had a fun summer and we are looking forward to winter and the Holidays.
